Open Mic Nights

Toby’s Social Pub in North Vancouver is hosting an Open Mic night on most Friday nights starting in August 2022. This is a free casual evening of fun that provides a warm and friendly environment giving performers a chance to showcase and play on a professional stage. Starting at 7.00 pm – 10.00 pm the event will be hosted by Jason and Chantal from the Jason Lane Band.

Toby’s has one of the best stage and sound systems in all of Vancouver. The large stage can easily hold half a dozen, the pub also has a brand new PA system and lighting system. At the open mic events there will be acoustic amps, acoustic guitar, mic stands and mics available. (Although performers are encouraged to bring their own instruments and microphones). The hosts can help with setup and sound.

All genres, skill levels, ages, individuals or groups, originals and/or cover music are welcome. Materials must be appropriate for a family audience.

Performers can sign up at beginning of night. Length of time slots will depend on how busy the evening is but everyone will be given a time to play. Performers can also email Jason to register in advance at openmicstobys@gmail.com
